The original ‘Devigarh Palace,’ strategically located atop a hill in the Aravalli Range in the heart of the countryside and overlooking one of the valley’s three main passes, was completed in 1760 A.D. during the reign of Rajrana Sajja Singh II. It was built with beautiful local marble and semi-precious stones, which were all used again during its restoration after it had been neglected for over a decade. The building was restored to its former glory as an all-suite luxury hotel in 1999, and in 2015 it was taken over, updated, and reborn by RAAS.
